We are delighted to extend an invitation to a private screening and mixer of "Dress Rehearsal," a film inspired by the remarkable Amanda Gorman, the first National Youth Poet Laureate of the United States in 2017.

"Dress Rehearsal" chronicles the imaginative and curious journey of a young girl overflowing with aspirations. The film stars Mackenzie Shelton, a 12-year-old from Brooklyn, and her mother, Maya Shelton.
The screening will be held in collaboration with Color of Change and our sponsors at Equator Studios.

Refreshments will be provided by Ten to One Rum.
Space is limited. We encourage attendees to arrive early.

In honor of Women’s History Month, Chucha Studios hosted the For Us, By Us panel event with women-identifying community members from varying professional paths coming together to discuss our unique, yet shared experiences of the impacts of the intersectionality of gender, race, and identity in our careers.
Our mission is to communicate the labor in individual careers as a significant tool and form of activism. The panel aims to create unity for marginalized individuals through our collective experiences, featuring Chelsea Miller, Ivie Ani, and Fanta Dicko.

The event is sponsored by Patterns Beauty and Topicals in partnership with Soho Works.
